Let Me Introduce You ....

 

Meet Bruno, My great grand dog. A better picture below.

A baby, so puppy breath! Look at that sweet little face! He was handed around so much I wondered if he was able to stand on his sweet little feet.

We arrived on Christmas Eve and Bruno came out in my daughter's arm to greet us. I had my three dogs on their leashes. I picked up Mr. BoJangles to sniff the puppy and he immediately started that growl in the back of his throat. His hackles rose and I handed him to HeWho and picked up Eddie. Eddie sniffed him carefully and Bruno sniffed Eddie. Eddie is very polite unless you bother his food while he is eating. Toni Louise was indifferent, she has been through many additions to our pack of dogs and probably figured this was just a new one and she would get used to it soon enough.


The granddogs were not happy with the addition to their house. Max is the smaller dog and went to sit with Papa. Gemma sat by me and sometimes on me. Max is old and really does not like Bruno. Gemma is nicer and even protective of Bruno. While Max was in his own bed on the floor, Bruno approached and Max wanted to bite him. Gemma insinuated herself between them. She must have all the maternal instinct that Toni is lacking.


Bruno belongs to my handsome grandson. 


He can walk!


Bruno tried to help with the dishwasher. Something tells me he will be in all kinds of trouble before he gets out of that puppy stage!

      That he is with that little smashed face! My daughter sent me a video of him asleep and snoring so loud!!

      My grandson is a handsome guy!! Bruno is going to be a big responsibility for him. He still lives at home, so he has plenty of help.

      He is a little stinker! He won't back down from the bigger dogs. He thinks he is big and has the whole family wrapped up in him.

      He won't be big, but will still be about as big as Mr. BoJangles. Bo weighs 12 lbs.

      Since these pictures, they have bought puppy playpen. He tried to escape and couldn't until they decided to incorporate his kennel into the fence. He just climbed on top of his kennel and got out! He spend a lot of time in someone's arms. Max is still hating him and Gemma will play with him until she tires of him.

  While awaiting the newest stove delivery I have been working in my She Shed, but the last several days have been overcast, damp and chilly. This has kept me inside. I tired quickly of Netflix and TV in general. Idle hands make me anxious, so I employed the help of HeWho sits and got down all the boxes of photos to sort. I have been saying I would get to them one day when I had nothing to do ..... Strolling down memory lane with each stack. I kept stopping to text pictures to my kids and laughing with them. Retired!

  Let's see if I did this right! Hopefully I will be able to add some pictures. Only one way to find out .... This is where it all started. On a rainy day in October, 2021. The first view of the rest of our lives. Here he is, the love of my life pondering this property he had proclaimed to be over our budget.  Here is the front view. The drizzling rain makes the house look like it needs a good power wash. Not to worry, we have one. While I am not a big fan of the screen door entry, this can be changed. This is the view that convinced HeWho proclaimed this property to be over the budget I had set to make an offer that very day. You can't see it from this picture, but a trout stream with rushing water hides down below. I will eventually get a good shot when I finally start to make some steps down to the water. Moving To A new House Would Be Easier

  The big day has arrived! I herded the canines into my bedroom to await the new stove. Now, keep in mind that they could have simply sent a repair out to change out the one burner that did not work. Hold that thought ...... Instead of simply repairing an other wise fine stove, they insisted that they should REPLACE it. And, the replacement is TODAY. I am in my bedroom with my furry babies as I listen to a very frustrated HeWho trying to remove the door in order to get it through the only opening that will take it outside. Delivery men refuse to assist and even suggest coming back at a later date! My new stove is sitting just outside their truck on the ground, still in the box causing me to thing to myself "What the not heaven (thanks Val)". Do we now have to go and muscle that thing up the steps and onto the porch ourselves?? I went out to assist. Not much assistance, as I kept jumping back to protect the gouty toe.
