Right here! Do you see it now? I thought you said strawberries were in the Spring! 


Crops are so confusing! I have so much to learn about the world. I will be your best friend and protect you while you teach me.


Okay, let's go in now. I think we need a nap.

      He is such a comfort to have by my side. He used to disdain my kisses to his sweet face and head, but now sits calmly while I smother him with smoochies like I used to do with Cujo. By the way, Blogger is not letting me post comments! Frustrating to compose a witty response and be denied the pleasure of sharing!!

      He is so handsome and patient, my sweet boy. Obedient, too. Stays right by me and if he does get sidetracked he will come back to me quickly when I call him.

    Awwwww, Eddie is so adorable with his sweet face. We had a beagle-dachshund and she loved to explore the outdoors. Everything was fun to her. I have photos of her sitting with expectancy beside the tomato plants waiting for me to say, "Ok, I'll give you one cherry tomato." She loved tomatoes. I love dachshunds, they are so loyal and loving. Eddie's eyes are full of love for you, I can tell! Such a sweet boy!

      He has the temperment of my Collie, Sarge. Sarge was a peacemaker. We had two doxies while Sarge was with us and Oscar loved to play ball. That dog would chase a ball 24/7! When we would tire of tossing the ball for him Sarge would take over and toss it from his mouth. I do realize that I am obsessed with my babies!!

  While awaiting the newest stove delivery I have been working in my She Shed, but the last several days have been overcast, damp and chilly. This has kept me inside. I tired quickly of Netflix and TV in general. Idle hands make me anxious, so I employed the help of HeWho sits and got down all the boxes of photos to sort.   Let's see if I did this right! Hopefully I will be able to add some pictures. Only one way to find out .... This is where it all started. On a rainy day in October, 2021. The first view of the rest of our lives. Here he is, the love of my life pondering this property he had proclaimed to be over our budget.  Here is the front view. The drizzling rain makes the house look like it needs a good power wash. Not to worry, we have one. While I am not a big fan of the screen door entry, this can be changed. This is the view that convinced HeWho proclaimed this property to be over the budget I had set to make an offer that very day. You can't see it from this picture, but a trout stream with rushing water hides down below. I will eventually get a good shot when I finally start to make some steps down to the water. The Half Tooth Lingering In My Mouth

  Yesterday was almost bearable with the tooth pain. I took aspirin, tylenol and ibuprophen, rotating them. Went to bed and finally turned the TV off at 11:30. The searing pain woke me at 4:30 am and I have yet to find relief. How much Orajel is too much to ingest? Should I be worried? It doesn't help much, but gives a brief respite. My appointment was today. I arrived with time to spare and had the X-rays done and then the dentist came in, asking about the left side of my mouth. The broken tooth is on the right side. The last root canal and crown I had done is infected!! He said it looked like it never completely healed and this was done over 2 years ago. Having established that, he took a peek at the broken tooth and said it would need to be handled by the oral surgeon. Okay, I already knew that. I used my finger to trace the area in acute pain.
