Tupperware Or Towels

 Not too long ago, I began a nagging campaign for HeWho to get staples for the compressor gun and help me build a spice rack. I nag, I own it, so what? Anyhoo, the longed-for spice rack has yet to appear, still a plan in the back of my head. I am limited in space and there are no swinging doors on which to hand things and very little wall space. I have a very narrow cabinet side next to the stove that is bare. The top and bottom. I cannot use the bottom; the dogs will want to sample things. The top, however, would suffice. It is only 9" wide. I have looked online and unless I am willing to pay more than I want to, there is nothing.

I have tired of waiting for HeWho to pull the dishwasher out of the hall closet to make better use of that space. He says it cannot be done. Just means that he doesn't want to. It came in, therefore it can go back out!


I present to you, my new spice rack!! The bottom of the dishwasher is empty. I vacillate wildly between Tupperware and towel storage as I try to shame HeWho into following orders!!

      It is, I can see all of my spices without having to move anything. Very convenient.

    You’re inventive that’s for sure! It seems from what you’ve told us previously- when persuading HeWho to do something - the slower you go the faster you get there. Just bide your time and it’ll happen- sometime😊

      Great minds think alike! I have already put the tupperware in! Towels wouldn't fit as well and I could accidentally spill spice on them .... The racks made it easy to separate the lids and big containers.

    I enter all my blogs on bloglovin.com, and they let me know when any of the blogs I follow have a new entry. For some reason, they don't work with your blog. I'm glad I put your blog link on my own blog, so when I remember you, I can hop right over and read your posts. This is the first time bloglovin has refused to acknowledge any of my blogs, so I don't know what's up with that.

  While awaiting the newest stove delivery I have been working in my She Shed, but the last several days have been overcast, damp and chilly. This has kept me inside. I tired quickly of Netflix and TV in general. Idle hands make me anxious, so I employed the help of HeWho sits and got down all the boxes of photos to sort.   Let's see if I did this right! Hopefully I will be able to add some pictures. Only one way to find out .... This is where it all started. On a rainy day in October, 2021. The first view of the rest of our lives. Here he is, the love of my life pondering this property he had proclaimed to be over our budget.  Here is the front view. The drizzling rain makes the house look like it needs a good power wash. Not to worry, we have one. While I am not a big fan of the screen door entry, this can be changed. This is the view that convinced HeWho proclaimed this property to be over the budget I had set to make an offer that very day. You can't see it from this picture, but a trout stream with rushing water hides down below. I will eventually get a good shot when I finally start to make some steps down to the water. Moving To A new House Would Be Easier

  The big day has arrived! I herded the canines into my bedroom to await the new stove. Now, keep in mind that they could have simply sent a repair out to change out the one burner that did not work. Hold that thought ...... Instead of simply repairing an other wise fine stove, they insisted that they should REPLACE it. And, the replacement is TODAY. I am in my bedroom with my furry babies as I listen to a very frustrated HeWho trying to remove the door in order to get it through the only opening that will take it outside. Delivery men refuse to assist and even suggest coming back at a later date! My new stove is sitting just outside their truck on the ground, still in the box causing me to thing to myself "What the not heaven (thanks Val)". Do we now have to go and muscle that thing up the steps and onto the porch ourselves?? I went out to assist. Not much assistance, as I kept jumping back to protect the gouty toe.
